Internal Dialogue Communicates with Immune System

“Twenty Years ago scientists discovered in the brain a set of chemicals known as neuropeptides. Neuro because they are formed in the brain, and peptides because they are protein like molecules. So every time you have a thought or a feeling, a desire, instinct, or a drive, each of these affects our nervous system by means of specific messenger molecules called neuropeptides.” Freidman Schaub, MD PhD, Cellular Wisdom

There are receptors to these neuropeptides not only in the brain cells but also in cells of the immune system. In fact, they now have found them in the bloodstream going to all of our organs. Deepok Chopra says “The immune system is constantly eves dropping on our internal dialogue.”
